So, whenever we're stressed, nervous or excited, that's a cue for beads of sweat on our brow, along with clammy hands and feet.

STICK DRIFT vs DEAD ZONE: They are two different things.

Stick Drift: Stick drift is usually caused by dust and debris
mixed with sweat stuck on the internal (potentiometer) analog sticks. Controllers
with stick drift seem to be moving on their own or when your character walks by
themselves.

Dead Zone: Is when the software of the controller alignment
calibration is not center. Most consoles have settings that allow Dead Zone adjustment
or reset.

Example: Good Dead Zone: Hold your thumbstick to the right
and then lift your thumb up and allow the thumbstick to center itself on the
controller. If the screen stays in its correct place, you have a good dead
zone.

Bad Dead Zone: Hold your thumbstick to the right and then
lift your thumb up and allow the thumbstick to center itself on the controller.
If the screen jobs to another position once. Usually an assign of a bad dead
zone.
